WHOLE BODY CRYOTHERAPY
EXPERIENCE THE CHILL...….
Were you aware that athletes have historically taken ice baths to decrease inflammation, pain and decrease recovery time?
Whole Body Cryotherapy which originated in Japan in 1978, works similar to the ice baths without the messy water or ice, in as little as 1-3 minutes. Whole Body Cryotherapy has been used for decades to promote natural healing and wellness, with the use of extremely cold temperatures, as low as 184 degrees F (much colder than ice bath). Whole Body Cryotherapy rejuvenates the body and is a natural alternative to medications. Many celebrities like Steph Curry, LeBron James, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lindsay Lohan, Mandy Moore, Alicia Keys, Demi Moore, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Aniston, and the New York Knicks utilize Whole Body Cryotherapy. Now it's your turn to experience the array of benefits from this modern cold technology known as Whole Body Cryotherapy. |
How does cryotherapy work?
Whole Body Cryotherapy involves rapid cooling of the clients skin surface temperature. Clients step into the cryotherapy chamber (wearing protective thermal gloves, socks, slippers, wrap/robe provided), the client removes wrap/robe. The Whole Body Cryotherapy Chamber fills with nitrogen vapor that drops the chamber temperature to a range of -90 Celsius (-130ºF) to -120 Celsius (-195ºF). While this may sound unbearable, clients are in the chamber for a maximum time of one to three minutes.
The extreme temperature drop, causes the body to react to protect itself. The body goes into survival mode, and draws the blood inward to preserve its core. The blood picks up nutrients and when it returns to the rest of the body, the nutrients are dispersed. This reaction also triggers the regulatory system, anti-inflammatory response within the body and the release of endorphins (the feel good hormone).
